On the 5th of February 2016, ACPPRC together with the NSW Australian Chinese community, held a Yamcha and street walk event, warmly welcomed NSW Premier Hon. Mike Baird MP to usher in the Year of the Monkey, bring best wishes to the community for a prosperous New Year.

Mr Xiangmo Huang, president of ACPPRC, accompanied the Premier visiting Chinatown, to dot lions eyes and wish all Chinese community members a happy Chinese New Year and Kung Hei Fat Choi.

H.E. Li Huaxin, Consul-General of PRC in Sydney; Mark Coure MP, Jonathan O'Dea MP, and about 300 Chinese community leaders also attended the event.
