On the 20th of February 2015, ACPPRC together with the NSW Australian Chinese community, held a Yamcha and street walk event with NSW Premier Mike Baird and Mrs. Kerryn Baird to celebrate Chinese New Year - bring best wishes to the community for a prosperous New Year.

Mr Xiangmo Huang, Chairman of ACPPRC, accompanied the Premier and Kerryn to walk the streets of Chinatown, to dot lions eyes and to go around wishing all Chinese community members a happy Chinese New Year and Kung Hei Fat Choi.

H.E. Tong Xuejun, Deputy Consul-General of PRC in Sydney; The Hon. Victor Dominello MP, NSW Minister for Citizenship and Communities and about 200 Chinese community leaders also attended the event.
