Australia China Business Dialogue on Australia - Cross Straits Business
In the afternoon of 6th August 2010, Australia China Business Dialogue on Australia - Cross Straits Business was held at Customs House (Circular Quay) and co-organised by ACPPRC and ACBC (Australia China Business Council). Opening speech was made by Jim Harrowell AM, President of ACBC. Closing remarks were made by William Chu JP, Chairman of ACPPRC.
 

There were eight official addresses from the following VIPs:
H.E. Li Bing Cai,Deputy Director of Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Committee of the National People’s Political Consultative Conference;
Mr. Liang Da Fu, Deputy Chairman of Taiwan Association for Cross-Strait Peaceful Reunification;
Mr. Lao Ngai Leong, Member of the Chinese National People’s Congress, Chairman of Macau Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China;
Prof. John Ingleson, Deputy Vice Chancellor of International and Development at University of Western Sydney;
Ms Chen Hong, representing China Chamber of Commerce & Industries in Australia;
Mr Steve Barclay,Director of H.K.E.T.O. of the Government of the H.K.S.A.R.;
Mr. Lin Gui Ru, the Chinese trade consul to Sydney.

 
 

The focus of the Dialogue was to discuss ways and means of furthering strengthen enconomic & trade relationship and business opputunities between Australia and four parts of China Cross Straits.
