ACPPRC Tenth Anniversary - Welcome Banquet
On 5th August 2010, a Welcome Banquet celebrating Tenth Anniversary of the founding of ACPPRC was held at Grand Ballroom of Star City Hotel in Sydney. More than 500 distinguished guests from all over the world were invited to attend the reception. Most of them also attended the Peace and Development Summit Forum at NSW Parliament House on 6 August; the Australia China Business Dialogue at Custom House on 6 August; and a Forum on Tibet at Star City on 7 August.
 

At the very beginning of the banquet, "Welcome to the land" had been performed by aboriginal people.

Then Mr William Chiu, Chairman of ACPPRC, made a welcome speech. He summarised what ACPPRC has achieved during the past 10 years and welcomed all the guests from all over the world, and all over the country.

The other official addresses were made by H.E Hu Shan, Consul-General (Ambassadorial rank) of the PRC in Sydney; Hon. Chris Evans, Senator, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, representing Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard; Hon. Sonia Hornery, Chairman of NSW Parliament Asia-Pacific Friendship Group, representing the Premier of NSW.

Vote of thanks was made by Mr Frank Chou, Senior Honorary Chairman of ACPPRC.
